Technical Support Manager

AccuSystems is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Support Manager to lead a small team of technical support staff. This position is seeking candidates who are well versed in the banking industry and are familiar with software development practices and methodologies. The Technical Support Manager will primarily be focused in leading the team to support our core software products while ensuring the team provides high level customer service that consistently and accurately solves the issues of our customers.


Job Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring a team of roughly 1-10 support employees and assist them as they diagnose, troubleshoot and repair issues, install and upgrade our company’s products, work with databases and deal with difficult customer support issues. It is important that the Technical Support Manager is able to analyze and identify various metrics to evaluate the team, and hold them accountable to these metrics.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Learn and become an expert on our core products with an in-depth technical understanding of how they work, and how they should work if there is an issue.
  • Analyze existing practices within the support department and identify areas that need improvement, and implement the proper workflows that work well with the software development division’s two-week development cycles to eliminate internal workflow and productivity problems within the support team.
  • Hold routine meetings and training sessions with your team to ensure that they are properly trained on our company’s software products, receive proper communications from other departments, and proper direction from upper management.

 

Oversee the operations, issue solving, planning and scheduling internally within the support department.

Software Developer

We are currently seeking a software developer to work in our Colorado Springs or Pueblo office.

A position with AccuSystems ensures that you will be exposed to several different technologies and opportunities in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and improving.

Requirements:
Strong preference for B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline or must have equivalent professinal experience

VB.NET/Object Oriented Design: Strong overall knowledge of .NET technologies and object oriented design.

Must have experience manipulating large ASCII files in both fixed length, delimited and variable length formats as well as experience writing custom code/scripts for data manipulation

SQL Server: Familiar enough with SQL Server to write moderately complex queries in support of web / mid tier development.

Experience with ASP.NET and classic ASP a definite plus.

Experience with imaging SDKs, such as LeadTools, is a plus.
